Los Angeles Police Department has accused five people of shooting the person who walked Lady Gaga’s dogs and kidnapped the animals.

Ryan Fischer was tasked with walking the singer and actor’s dogs on the day of the incident. Fischer was admitted to a hospital after he got a gunshot injury. The dogs known as Gustav and Koji came back a few days after the event. Fischer took to Instagram to convey how grateful and humbled he felt about the police. It was the attention and concentration of the police that got the dogs back to a state of being safe, wrote Fischer on Instagram.

James Jackson, Lafayette Whaley, Jaylin White, Jennifer McBride, and Harold White were the ones arrested for their involvement in the incident. Interestingly, McBride returned the animals to the cops. Jackson, Whaley and White are regarded as the people who played a direct part in the shooting and robbery. McBride and White are regarded as accomplices.

Officials also stated that they feel the robbery happened due to the worth of the animals concerned. According to them, it was not targeted at Gaga herself.

In the words of Los Angeles County DA, George Gascón, this is a brazen act that left an individual severely injured. The charges from LAPD in this particular case are serious, said Gascón while adding that justice would be served when it develops in court.
