LASD To Look Into Domestic Abuse Claims Against Marilyn Manson

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) stated that it would look into the domestic violence accusations made against rocker Marilyn Manson. Manson’s former fiancé, actor Evan Rachel Wood made the allegations against him in the recent past. The actor testified her domestic violence-related experience in congressional hearings before without revealing the name of the responsible party.

As for LASD’s Special Victims Bureau, the events happened between the late 2000s and the early 2010s when Manson was living in West Hollywood. The rocker has denied Evan Rachel Wood’s accusations, and he said that her statements distort the facts.

Wood made the accusations on the first week of February 2021. The Los Angeles Police Department checked Manson’s health in the rock musician’s Hollywood Hills-based residence. Manson’s close friends tried to get in touch with him that day, but to no avail. That failure to contact the rocker caused the LAPD check, as per TMZ’s reports.

Following the public accusations, the rocker lost his agreement with the label Loma Vista Recordings.

The rocker took to social media to respond to the accusations. In his social media content, he said that his life and art have been attracting controversy for a long time, but the recent accusations distort the reality. He described his intimate relationships as ‘consensual’ and with ‘like-minded’ people. He wondered how other people choose to distort the truth.
